How does PI Manager Prep work?
We have a sample on our “how it works” page. In short, PI Manager Prep will give you a multiple choice question. If you answer the question right, you are able to move to the next question. If you get the question wrong, we show you the correct answer and tell you why the question was marked wrong. Our goal is to teach you by repetition in hopes that when you take the exam, you will remember the answer from our question samples.
Are you a continuing education provider?
We are not a continuing education platform or private investigator training school. There are great platforms out there that provide excellent continuing education systems such as PI Education or a similar institution. With that out of the way, PI Manager Prep’s goal is to help you pass your private investigator exam on the first try by showing you variations of questions generated from the Occupations Code Chapter 1702 and the Private Security Administrative Rules.
If you are not a CE Provider, what are you?
We are not a CE Provider, the information that we are providing you can be obtained from state guides. We have simply taken the guides and information that is provided by the state and turned it into a question and answer platform.
Why do we need to practice for an open book test?
Open book exams give you a false sense of security. As an example, the Texas Manager Exam consists of 100 questions over the course of 2 hours. This gives you a little over 1 minute per question. Or goal is to help you memorize and remember as many questions as possible to save you time when you are taking the exam.
How long is the study guide?
PI Manager Prep is not a study guide, instead, we are a question and answer system. After asking you a question, if you answer the question right, you move on to the next question. If you get it wrong, we show you why your answer was wrong and show you the answer along with where to find it on the exam.
We have over 700 questions and variations within our system.
Does PI Manager Prep count towards Continuing Education?
No, we are not a continuing education platform.
Can I get refunds?
We have a strict no refund policy. Once you access our application, you theoretically have access to all of our questions and answers, what is stopping you from downloading our Q&A and studying the questions at home?
We have created a platform to practice questions with ease rather than paying $130+ for a PDF that is mailed to your home.
Can I get a daily pass?
We unfortunately do not have a daily pass.
Do you guarantee that I will pass the exam?
We can’t guarantee that you will pass on the first try, that is up to the person studying the question and answers. If you take the exam and fail, we would be more than glad to give you a free month to study and take the exam a second time.
You must provide us with a copy of your failed results that are emailed to you by the state along with your purchase number.
How long should we study for?
That is going to be up to you, we recommend to prepare for at least 60 days and doing a final study walk through the day before the exam. A state exam can cost upwards of $160, it can get quite expensive if you fail and have to re-take the exam. Not to mention that some states only offer the exams once every 3 months. It’s always better to prepare, than to learn from the mistake and experience and take it again at a later time.
